In this post I am gonna talk through the products I used and how, to create a pretty Valentines inspired makeup look...
I have talked about how much I love this foundation before, it leaves your skin flawless, it's easy to blend and has great longevity. I applied the foundation using a Zoeva 102 Silk Finish brush.
I applied this concealer under my eyes and on blemishes or redness. This concealer provides great coverage, blends well and really smooths out the skin. I also put concealer on my eyelids - you know, to block out the veiny eyelid thing we all have going on. To blend the concealer I used a Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer brush.
So, ignoring that I may have forgotten to put this in the photo above, I absolutely love this powder. It is not costly and does a great job at keeping your base in place (poet and I didn't know it). This powder also prevents you looking super shiny. I applied it all over my face - remember to even put it on your eyelids to set the concealer in order to help your eyeshadow stay on. I used a Real Techniques Powder Brush.
Too Faced Natural Eyes
I started by putting the shade 'Heaven' (a matte pearly shade) all over my lid. Then I covered my lid in 'Nudie' (a matte light brown). After that I applied the shade 'Honey Pot' (a golden glittery colour) all over my lid a few times until it was looking nice and shimmery. I applied all these shades using my Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer. Then with my 231 Zoeva Petite Crease brush, I ran the shade 'Push-Up' (a shimmery medium brown) through my crease and applied it to the outer corner of my eye and underneath my lower lash line. Then I blended the eyeshadow out using a Japonesque Eyeshadow Brush. After all that business, I went on to apply my CT Bronze & Glow highlighter to the inner corners of my eye with my finger.
I love these eyeshadows, they're easy to blend, stunning and last ages. Definitely check out Too Faced eyeshadows!

To create my winged liner I love to use this liquid eyeliner, it has a fine nib making it SO easy to use. The colour comes out super black and the lasting power of this eyeliner is amazing.
I adore this mascara. It curls your lashes and makes them look long, beautiful and really black - what more could you want?
This eyebrow pencil makes filling in my eyebrows extremely easy. However, for this look I made sure not to fill them in too harshly as this look already has bold lips and a lot going on around the eyes.
I used the Bronze and Glow to contour/bronze my face as it warms your face up and creates a beautiful contour. To apply the bronzer I used the Zoeva 127 Luxe Sheer Cheek brush. I applied the bronzer in the hollows of my cheeks, my temples and jawline. I also used the Bronze and Glow's highlighter (using the Naked Flushed Brush) over the tops of my cheekbones, brow bone and cupids bow. This highlight really stands out providing a beautiful champagne colour that adds a glowy effect to the skin.
This blush is a peach colour with no shimmer meaning it is great to add to a makeup look where you already have shimmer going on elsewhere in the eye area. Also, I find a subtle peachy blush really compliments a red lip. To apply I used the Real Techniques Blush Brush.
So, as this look is Valentine's day inspired after all, of course I had to go for a red lip! I chose this Rimmel lipstick as the shade is quite a soft, wearable red. This one is a perfect red lipstick that is easy to apply, long lasting and comfortable on the lips.
Hope you all have a nice Valentine's day!
Love, Millie
