What I Was Loving In January

As February is now here I thought I would share all the things I absolutely loved in January and the things that made the freezing, rainy days just that bit more bearable...

Topshop Chelsea Boots

If you know me in person, you would know I pretty much live in chelsea boots. I recently got this pair and have been absolutely loving them, they're a great asset during the freezing weather for sure. What else is great about these shoes is they're a flattering fit and perfect around the ankle, as I often find some chelsea boots are not very narrow making them look quite clumpy. So, you could say I'm obsessed, but I think a good pair of chelsea boots is a necessity for anyone's shoe collection, they go with any outfit whether you're paring them with a jumper and jeans or a dress, and they're perfect for day or night. Okay, I have rambled quite a lot about them but to sum it up I think they're so effortless but lovely, comfy and edgy.

Cadbury Mini Eggs

As Easter is on the horizon mini eggs are now popping up in shops and I'm so happy about it. I love these as a chocolaty snack and guiltily can demolish a packet in one sitting. Pure comfort food heaven.

Too Faced Sweetheart Blush

I had been wearing this blush all the time in January and still am, I can't get enough of the pretty, shimmery pink tint this gives your cheeks. I love how this blush shows up well, yet still looks fairly natural and doesn't require 50 swipes of your brush on your cheeks before you actually see it working. 

L'Oreal Color Riche Julianne's Nude Lipstick

To be honest, I personally love all the nude range from the Color Riche lipsticks L'Oreal has brought out, but this particular one holds a special place in my lipstick collection. The lipstick is quite creamy and feels nice on the lips, I love how it provides a soft, pretty, pink colour that warms up your face, and it's affordable.

Rifle Paper Co iPhone Case

I absolutely adore this case. My sister bought it for me for Christmas after remembering how I fell in love with it when I saw it for the first time on holiday in New York. What's not to love about this case? The pattern is super cute and has mirrored detailing on it, the see through back looks great exposing the back of your iPhone and I also really like how it feels quite protecting. The edge of it is made of rubber, I find this aspect so important, especially since I have smashed my phone screen in the past... not good!

Modern Muse Le Rouge Perfume

I wore this perfume all through January and continue to do so. It smells pretty and sophisticated with hints of roses and fruits. Also, of course, one of the most important factors of the perfume; it's long lasting and not one of those perfumes that you spray and the scent disappears 10 minutes later, SO annoying. 

Psycho 

After being desperate to watch this film as a huge thriller/horror fan, I finally watched it in January. I loved how the story was interesting, thrilling and unique but I didn't find it particularly scary, however I'm so glad I have finally watched this classic! By the way, if you didn't know, Psycho is an American psychological thriller released in 1960 and revolves around a secluded motel.

Rose Gold Lightening Wire

Although there is little to be said about a phone charger, I thought I would show it as I adore it. I love rose gold and looking at this pretty wire whenever I charge my phone makes me just that bit happier as it's so aesthetically pleasing. I definitely recommend people to purchase one if you're a rose gold fanatic like me.

Victoria's Secret Pyjamas

Oh my god, I just love these pyjamas. They have definitely become a favorite item of mine. I loved wearing them during January/winter especially as the plaid pattern feels wintery and Christmassy. I am also obsessed with the look of pyjamas with a long sleeve shirt and trousers, so these stunning and soft VS ones are just luxurious perfection.

Copper Frame

As a sentimental person I love decorating my room with pictures of friends and family, and even more so when the pictures are in cute copper frames (mine is from Tiger). I believe pictures really bring together a room as they give a personal, homey touch, so why not get a trendy frame to do it with?
